Yes, it is true. Art Basel Miami Beach 2018 is near and we need to get ready to explore this year’s edition. Kamel Mennour is one of the best art galleries visitors will be allowed to get to know in this art exhibition.
The gallery Kamel was brought to life in 1999 and owns not only three areas in the sophisticated city of Paris but also a London space in Mayfair. In these galleries, the outstanding works of about thirty young and internationally celebrated contemporary artists is often showcased and admired.
Kamel’s goals are always present in the administration’s minds. First, they want to organize, support and create the best possible exhibitions by their talented artists, like Valentin Carron, Latifa Echakhch, Alicja Kwade, Liam Everett, Christodoulos Panayiotou, Petrit Halilaj, Mohamed Bourouissa, David Hominal and Camille Henrot, among others.
Then, they also want to promote the artists worldwide by participating in international exhibitions from acclaimed institutions and art fairs. They will spread the knowledge about fascinating artists like Anish Kapoor, Ugo Rondinone, Cameron Jamie, Alberto Giacometti, Tadashi Kawamata, Ann veronica Janssens, Pier Paolo Calzolari, Huang Yong Ping and Alfredo Jaar; and collaborate with major French artists as Daniel Buren, François Morellet, Martial Raysse, Tatiana Trouvé, Philippe Parreno or Claude Lévêque, among others.
Last, but not least, they have the mission to publish four publications per year and organize debates between artists, critics and curators. Kamel is a place to share knowledge and experiences, only by working together and building a community we can break the boundaries of art and design. The diverse origins and life stories of their artists make Kamel the paradise for self-expression, a deep analysis of ourselves and the world around us.
We can’t wait to see the diversity of Kamel‘s booth in Art Basel Miami Beach 2018.
