It’s time to discover the new collectible designs ammann gallery, one of the best international art galleries, will showcase at the The Salon Art+Design NY 2018. This will be its 5th participation in the event. The gallery will present exceptional art pieces from its best designers, including Ron Arad, Hélène Binet, Studio Nucleo, Satyendra Pakhalé, Rolf Sachs, Joel Escalona and Abel Zavala.

The work of Studio Nucleo is born from the connection between art and design, function and sculpture. Their series Souvenirs from the Last Century and Wood Fossils transforms memories, using forgotten wooden pieces from several ages and petrifying them with a transparent body of resin. This collectible furniture is ancient and contemporary at the same time.

The innovative Presenze sculptural glass vases are decorative ethereal objects floating through space, challenging every boundary and even the laws of gravity.
Nucleo´s finest craftsmanship working with metal is manifest in their Metal Ages series, the Bronze Age Console and the Iron Age Coffee Table being some of the best collectible designs. Boolean, Nucleo’s more recent sculptural design showcase the possibilities of innovation design.

Boolean Dog Head, displayed for the first time in the United States, explores the concept of boolean data, computer-aided design operations of subtraction, intersection, and union to bring classical sculptures to life.
Ron Arad, one of the best designers of our time, creates works of art that make us feel the joy of invention, pleasure and humor. At The Salon we will be able to see one of his original 38 Tables from his 1995 exhibition at the Triennale di Milano, one of the turning points in his career. The gallery is working with Ron Arad since 1991 and he is one of its pillars.

The combination of different arts is essential to ammann gallery, that loves to fuse art and architecture using the breathtaking photographs of Hélène Binet that transforms complex architectural masterpieces into incredible photographic compositions. She creates art with light and shadow. She captured iconic images of artworks by contemporary architects including Dame Zaha Hadid, and Peter Zumthor. The urban photographies of American photographer Berenice Abbott will be showcased for the first time in New York .
