Oitoemponto was developed in 1993 thanks to Artur Miranda and Jacques Bec‘s journey. Together, merging their talents and efforts, they learned how to achieve the highest level in the interior design field. Nowadays, it is a Portuguese interior design brand renowned worldwide, with an unbeatable strength and it is representing its home country in Maison et Objet 2019, Paris.
- The Puzzle Collection
The Puzzle Collection was designed for the exhibition AD Collections 2016, an event dedicated to the creation of exceptional pieces of furniture and signed by today’s greatest talents. Following their first collection NossaBossaNova, Artur Miranda and Jacques Bec presented this exclusive and limited collection of 8 pieces of furniture.
- NossaBossaNova
NossaBossaNova is a collection of exclusive and limited edition furniture inspired by the Brazilian architects that Artur and Jacques met in their projects in São Paulo. The collection is a tribute to Lucio Costa, Salvador Candia, Paulo Mendes da Rocha and Lina Bo Bardi. The choice of materials is due to the various projects carried out by these two designers over 20 years of architecture and decoration in Portugal, France, the United Kingdom, Angola, Brazil and in their travels around the world.
“Portugal: Eldorado archi, design, craft?” , that is the name of the Conference where Oitoemponto will have a central role, presenting and discussing the past, the present and the future of design and craftsmanship. Several talented souls, plastic artists, master artisans and designers in general are reunited in Maison Conferences, a place where we all try to build a path to a better understanding of the field that we love.
Don’t miss it at 21 January, 2:00 pm in Hall 7.

Good Morning, recently I decorated our company’s office (it was fun and messy at the same time) and I decided to write up an article on how to decorate a home on a budget. It would be superb if you could publish this little guide of mine on your blog.
I have saved the guide on my google drive which you can access through here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1fU0DH2UYf1RbctKX_usLTy-XwHswajo2?usp=sharing
I did not have time to collect some pretty images so please add some to the post.
It would be fab if you could ping me the link to the published blog so that I could share it with my friends on Facebook who I am sure will read it with great interest as I am sure that everyone is bound to decorate their home sometime.
Best wishes
Tony
This is truly helpful, thanks.
