Covet Foundation is proudly supporting the best of fine arts at Maison et Objet 2019. Our work is a tribute to master artisans and the finest craftsmanship and we always try to discover the most groundbreaking ways of marrying ancient arts and contemporary design.
To honor our mission, we are covering the best international art and design showcases. At Maison et Objet 2019, expect to find us at the Covet House Stand (Hall 8 – Stand C15) with the masterpieces from our Project Culture Creative Hub and in the Conference “Portugal, Eldorado archi, design, craft?” (21 January, 2 p.m.) at Hall 7.
Project CULTURE created by Covet Foundation is the material concretization of a dream that belongs to every single person who celebrates the finest craftsmanship all around the world. This Creative Hub allows master artisans, plastic artists and designers to work together searching for new artistic ways to express themselves and create beautiful masterpieces.
When several great European designers moved to Portugal, the world asked them why. Two answers emerged: the existence of craftsmanship skills and a certain state of mind with the human at the center. Truth or fantasy? Are you ready to find out?
In this outstanding conference ready to break some boundaries and explore the Portuguese contribute to the finest craftsmanship, everyone will have the pleasure to hear the remarkable designer Joana Astolfi from Astolfi Studio; the celebrated interior architects Artur Miranda and Jacques Bec from Oitoemponto and the renowned Amandio Pereira from the Covet Foundation for Design & Craftsmanship, moderated by the journalist Guy-Claude Agboton.
