ICFF 2019: Big Mushroom.\u00a0Designer Pierre Paulin distinguished himself with this armchair in the original shape, bright colours and revolutionary manufacturing technique for the time. The idea for the Mushroom came to Pierre Paulin while he was watching women, shaped and sheathed in their swimming suits. He wanted the same thing for a seat. Their production is both industrial and limited. Many young designers come to Schijndel to test their ideas and are amazed at the technical possibilities, just like Pierre Paulin when he produced his first bucket chair at Artifort in 1959.<\/p>\n

Artifort truly invested in its production facility in recent years. They believe in sustainability and in designer furniture that lasts for generations.
