Now that Maison et Objet 2019<\/strong><\/em><\/a> is, sadly, over, it is time to remember the best of the event. As always, we tried to find talented master artisans<\/strong> behind the mesmerizing masterpieces<\/strong> showcased at the art and design fair \u2013 the Pullcast<\/a>\u2019<\/strong>s jewellery maker<\/strong> was one of them.<\/p>\n

The exquisite brand Pullcast had Rui Pinto<\/strong>, master in jewellery making<\/strong>, exhibiting his marvelous craftsmanship<\/strong> skills live at the event. When asked about his journey to become the top crafsman<\/strong> at the luxury brand<\/strong> Pullcast, Rui explained he collaborated with several shops and brands throughout his life. Pullcast, however, allows him to let his creativity<\/strong> run free. \u201cPullcast is a place where the power of creation has no limit\u201d<\/em>, he says with joyful eyes.<\/p>\n

The major challenge<\/strong> he delightedly faced was to create something that didn\u2019t exist in the market. He didn\u2019t give up until he achieved that new wonder and he still is innovating<\/strong> in his field today.<\/p>\n

His inspiration comes from natural elements<\/strong> we can see just outside our windows, the wonders of everyday life which surround us without us even realizing it. Beauty<\/strong>, for him, can be found in all corners of the world.<\/p>\n

The drive to capture natural beauty<\/strong> in his creations led to the development of Kesya Pull<\/em>, one of the most wonderful art pieces<\/strong> in Pullcast\u2019s Earth Collection. Rui confesses: \u201cKesya was the first piece that I created, and I used a piece of wood to make the mold that eventually produced the end product!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

After Kesya and the Earth Collection, this extraordinary master artisan<\/strong> developed other collections like Ocean and Cosmopolitan. The last one, as you can imagine thanks to its name, is inspired by a urban lifestyle. The first one, however, brings its inspiration from the depths of the sea.<\/p>\n

Among the brilliant Ocean pieces is Toile Pull<\/em>, Rui\u2019s favorite. To mold this creation with his own hands, the master artisan<\/strong> extracted his inspiration from coral reefs and their mysterious atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Every single piece that is brought to life by Rui\u2019s hands has a piece of his soul, because of the dedication and passion he has for his work. Thanks to him, the ancient art<\/strong> of hand crafting luxury jewellery<\/strong> is still alive and thriving in contemporary design<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
