Galerie Dumonteil<\/strong><\/a> (Stand 19) is one of the best sculptural exhibitors<\/strong> that will be showcasing at PAD Geneve 2019<\/strong><\/em><\/a>. Since 1982, this art gallery assumed a central role in the market of the figurative sculpture<\/strong>. Focusing on modern<\/strong> and contemporary art<\/strong>, Galerie Dumonteil has three gallery spaces in Paris, New York and Shanghai respectively. While the headquarters in Paris focus on gathering a permanent collection<\/strong> of artifacts, the branches in New York and in Shanghai serve to preserve the art of the Interwar Period<\/strong> and promote European artists<\/strong> from this era to both Chinese and American audiences in thematic exhibitions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Established in 2008, Galerie Dumonteil\u2019s Shanghai space has the mission to support the collaboration and professional bonds with artists in Asia. It is one of the first Western art galleries<\/strong> to be involved in the early stage of the growing Chinese contemporary art<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The gallery is renowned for its group and solo exhibitions featuring artists from 1930s to 1970s such as Fran\u00e7ois Pompon<\/strong>, Georges-Lucien Guyot<\/strong>, Rembrandt Bugatti<\/strong>, Diego Giacometti<\/strong>, Charles Artus<\/strong>, Marcel Derny<\/strong>, Pablo Picasso<\/strong>, Armand Petersen<\/strong> and Joseph Czaky<\/strong>. Thanks to its wide network of artists and collectors, Galerie Dumonteil became the leading gallery in terms of animal figures<\/strong> and art pieces portraying nature around the world.<\/p>\n

For more than 20 years, the gallery devoted itself to the discovery of and promotion of talented contemporary artists<\/strong>. Today, talents such as Daniel Daviau<\/strong>, Jean-Marie Fiori<\/strong>, Helmut Koller<\/strong>, Eric Pillot<\/strong>, Jean-Claude Meynard<\/strong>, Rub\u00e9n Fuentes<\/strong>, Hubert le Gall<\/strong> and Wang Keping<\/strong> come together in the gallery\u2019s three spaces in Paris, Shanghai and New York, creating truly diverse showcases.<\/p>\n
