This incridble artist was born in 1947, in Padua, Italy where he lives and works. He is an Italian jewellery artist<\/strong> renowned for his craftsmanship<\/strong> masterpieces artistc creations and finest quality<\/strong>. He studuiede at Pietro Selvatico Art Institute in Padua and at the Academy of Belles Arts in Venice<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 Since 70\u2019s he wins awards by renowed Art and Goldsmith\u2019s Associations<\/strong> such as Herbert Hoffmann, Grand Prix Japan Jewellery<\/strong>, Foundation of the Ring of Honour of the Association of Goldsmith\u2019s Art.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Babetto\u2019s work reflects contemporary art movements such as concrete art, minimal art, kinetic or op art in a unique, purist and plastic manner.\u00a0He has had a marked influence on the avant-garde goldsmiths\u2019 scene<\/strong> since the late 1960s.<\/p>\n

His\u00a0Goldsmiths<\/em>\u00a0jewellers process is more sculptural than a design process. After drawing he try to put together some elements that came out of the drawing and give them a function to decide if it will be for use or not.<\/p>\n

He use pure geometrical forms and the solid but empty form gives a massive appearance to the pieces, and a great lightness when taken in use.<\/p>\n
