China<\/strong> is now recognized as a major international actor<\/strong> in the design field<\/strong> over the past five years with the design culture<\/strong> shifting towards innovation<\/strong> and original designs<\/strong>. Over fifty Chinese designers<\/strong> and brands<\/strong> presented their latest work at Design Shanghai 2019 showcasing the best<\/strong> in furniture<\/strong>, lighting<\/strong>, accessories<\/strong> and new materials<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Alongside several well-known established brands such as 8 Hour<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> Banlan<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> Black Drama<\/em><\/strong>, <\/em>EndlessForm<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> Grado<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> HC28<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> Lost & Found <\/em><\/strong>and Urbancraft<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, emerging designers bring their experimental designs<\/strong> and unexpected materials including Buzao<\/em><\/strong>, <\/em>DEFRONT<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> Kun Design<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> ShengYin & KaiYi<\/em><\/strong>, <\/em>Sozen<\/em><\/strong>, <\/em>WUU<\/em><\/strong> and ziinlife<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Design Shanghai is Asia\u2019s major design event<\/strong> which makes it the perfect place for the world\u2019s most renowned design brands<\/strong> to present their newest collections<\/strong> to the Asian market. This year Design Shanghai welcomed several new international brands to the show including &tradition<\/strong>, TON <\/strong><\/em>and Brokis<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Across five design halls, these international brands exhibited the best in furniture<\/strong>, lighting<\/strong>, bathroom<\/strong> and kitchen design <\/strong>and decorative accessories. Well-known brands such as Swarovski<\/strong>, Knoll<\/strong>, Caesarstone<\/strong>, Roche Bobois<\/strong><\/em> and Stellar Works<\/em><\/strong> launched new designs at the showcase and there was a stand for Jens Risom<\/em> <\/strong>which included the Risom C140 Chair.<\/p>\n
