We believe that this is not the first time you listen about Maison et Objet 2019 Talk Conferences. Actually, we wrote before about the ones you shoudn’t miss and one in specific about Portugal and its heritage and craftsmanship.

These conferences were truly interesting and for those who couldn’t be there, Maison et Objet shared at their website the full videos. A lot of things were talked, some in the Marketing areas, craftsmanship, Chinese or French Design and even a talk with the designer of the year – Sebastian Herkner.

PRESENCE OF ARTISANS
If you ever think that world is totally taken by machines, you should come to this blog and see that there are gifted people around there who refuse to let machines win the game. They work with metal, murano glass, marchetry, wood and so many other techniques.

Its amazing what humans can do. We usually say that the perfect marriage in Design is between thinkers and makers: that’s when magic happens.
