Clerkenwell is a special place, a paradise for creative businesses and architects, where they all reunite, making it truly one of the most important design hubs in the world. To celebrate this precious and diverse community, Clerkenwell Design Week created a showcase of leading UK and international brands and companies, which will present their masterpieces in a series of showroom events, exhibitions and special installations that will take your breath away.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary in May 2019 (21-23) the award-winning CDW is recognized as the United Kingdom’s best independent design festival and annually attracts the design community gurus from all over the world to this small area of London for three days of exciting events. In 2018, the design community was gathered Clerkenwell with 34,060 attendees and over 300 exhibiting brands.
The design fair was, for example, Winner of Best UK Tradeshow at the AEO Awards 2016, no. 1 UK event on the Dezeen Hot List 2016.
Clerkenwell Design Week takes place in several sites around Clerkenwell. The showrooms have many locations and opening hours. The exhibitions, open daily from 10:00-19:00 and 10:00-21:00 on Wednesday.

Essential to the festival are the local resident design showrooms, who partner with Clerkenwell Design Week every year, providing the festival with a inspiring program of discussion and interaction events including talks, workshops and product launches. These participating companies include luxury furniture, lighting, kitchen and bathroom brands and also material manufacturers.
