Founded in 1989, Marmol Radziner is a unique design-build project led by architects. Santiago Calatrava Valls was born in 28 July 1951. He is a Spanish architect, designer and engineer, a sculptor and a painter, mainly known for his bridges supported by single leaning pylons, and his railway stations, stadiums, and museums, whose sculptural forms often resemble living organisms.

His most celebrated artworks include the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Turning Torso tower in Malmö, Sweden, the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge in Dallas, Texas, and one of his largest projects, the City of Arts and Sciences and Opera House, in his birthplace, Valencia.
