Are you ready for Design Indaba 2019? From 27 February to 1 March, this unique, outstanding and inspirational event dedicated to contemporary art and design, inspires and empowers people to create. You can follow its online publication, but its peak can only be admired at the annual Festival.

Since 1995, this art and design showcase grew and became a paradise for creativity, attracting the world’s most talented designers and artists. It also charms over half a million visitors each year. Design Indaba’s goal is to celebrate remarkable design and support creative projects, businesses and education.

The internationally acclaimed artistic conference will take place in Cape Town, at the Artscape Theatre, showcasing the industry’s vanguard. There we will, once again, search for excellence in furniture and collectible design. The upcoming event will, undoubtfully, inspire design activism, from architecture and industrial design to pop culture, emerging technologies and environmental problem-solving.

Popular exhibitons include the annual Emerging Creatives, which presents to us the young design talents and the Most Beautiful Object in South Africa exhibition, which awards one design each year with this prestigious title.
