Covet Foundation had the pleasure to talk with Rui Palmas from Mão de Fogo, an amazing project that repairs and builds bronze sculptures since 2001,for an exclusive interview. Rui confessed that all the art pieces they create are intricate and demand dedication and passion, this means the one which marks them most is always the current one they are working with.

However, he highlights their participation in the creation of I’m you mirror for Joana Vasconcelos’ atelier, due to the huge amount of talented hands involved and to the difficulty of working with such a colossal masterpiece.

Currently, they are focused on working bronze to create massive sculptures with exquisite finishes to give them a mirror-like shine.
