2018 was a year of change for the Salone del Mobile Milano, can we expect the same from iSaloni 2019? The question is raised and we can’t wait to find out when the doors open at 9 April! Last year, we were surprised with the Manifesto, a declaration of intent forged to combine forces with Milan and protect the remarkable role both the city and the design showcase have. The goal was to attract new ideas, projects and resources able to inspire the world.

Nine words command this new mission for isaloni: emotion, business, quality, design, system, young people, communication, culture and, of course, Milan. The organization acknowledges that the success of the Salone blossomed from its exceptional network which assures the quality of the designs showcased. Sustainability and excellence are what they are looking for, while establishing means to train the younger generation, preserving the culture of the city.

We also can’t forget the Saloni WorldWide Moscow trade fair, launched in 2005 and held in October each year in the pavilions of the Crocus Expo exhibition center and featuring around 300 Italian and foreign companies. This event also suffered a transformation in 2018 becoming Salone del Mobile Milano Moscow, maintaining its connections to Milan and Italy. Salone del Mobile Milano Shanghai was launched in 2016 and takes place in November each year at the Shanghai Exhibition center, where more than 120 Italian brands showcase the most creative and mesmerizing furniture made with the finest craftsmanship.
